On the first visit to the office, we do a thorough dental examination, a which may include X-rays. We talk with the patient about their expectations and dental concerns. We assess the patient’s overall oral health. With this information, the dentist and patient together choose a future course of action to maintain and ensure the patient’s dental health. This appointment takes 30 to 60 minutes, allowing us to plan for future visits that include cleanings or other treatment as needed.
